Alex Jacobs joined Wintrust Mortgage in September 2018 and currently serves as CEO. With more than 35 years of experience across the mortgage ecosystem, Alex brings deep expertise in mortgage originations, operations, servicing, and risk management. Since joining Wintrust Mortgage, Alex has led the organization with an unwavering commitment to responsible growth, operational excellence, and community-focused lending. He is deeply passionate about putting people at the center of everything we do in addition to supporting an organization to help guide individuals and families through one of the most important financial decisions of their lives. Under his leadership, Wintrust Mortgage continues to build trusted relationships with clients and partners, while supporting the evolving needs of the communities it serves.

Alex holds a bachelor’s degree in retail management from Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana.
